Pattern Description: Misses' skirt in three lengths with peplum variations.
Pattern Sizing: 8-18
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? For the pattern in general I like the peplum variations and how easy this skirt is to make.
For this view (D) I like the front pleat in the peplum. It adds a little interest to it.
Fabric Used: Poly/rayon houndstooth from my stash
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I added 1.5" to the length of the shortest skirt. This makes the finished length of my skirt pretty much halfway between the shortest and middle skirt.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? This is my second one so I'll take a break from it for a while. I would recommend this pattern.
Conclusion: I'm very happy with this skirt. I wore it to the office and received a bunch of compliments. I'm giving the peplum trend a rest for now. I've made two peplum skirts and a peplum top. Time to move on.
