| More photos of various angles are found on my blog. Pattern Description:
This is a simple, self-drafted tube skirt with a single center back seam
Pattern Sizing:
A rectangular piece of fabric, enough to wrap around the body + 3" for ease + the amount you desire for seam allowances. Note: Fleshier bodies generally need more ease so my 3" will vary depending on body type.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Well, not on a pattern envelope. Over three years ago I'm pretty sure I saw a leopard print skirt on some website and wanted one. Thus, this project was born.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
I'm sure there are lots of tutes on the Internet for a simple, self-drafted skirt for a beginning sewer. An Advanced Beginner on up barely needs to think about this one to assemble it.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
N/A
Fabric Used:
The skirt is actually two layers: a shorter underskirt made out of Bemberg rayon lining fabric and the sheer, longer outerskirt made out of a sheer, leopard print fabric (mystery poly) from...see my blog to find out ;) .
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I wanted a peekaboo hemline with the sheer layer showing a shadow of leg with the shorter lining underskirt.. Got what I wanted .
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Anytime one needs a quick and easy skirt, a rectangular piece of fabric can be used to whip one up in no time! So yes.
Conclusion:
Nice skirt, and now that I've made this my profile pic on FB, I'm sure my daughters will start asking about it. As in, "Can I borrow it?"

Great skirt! Great outfit. And both look great on you. I, too, occasionally find some great fabrics at WallyWorld. :o)
