Pattern Description:
Belted robe has front band and side seam pockets. Shorts/pants D and E have elastic waist and attached front tie.
Pattern Sizing:
Girls sizes x-small/small or med/lg/xlg in multi-sized envelopes
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Mostly.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Very easy, though I chose to do some things differently on the robe.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
Great basic jammie/robe pattern. Drafted to be on the slimmer side of fit, which is what I was wanting to match my daughter's shape.
Fabric Used:
Strawberry shortcake fleece.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
On the robe: added a little length, omitted the pockets, sewed the belt to the robe instead of putting on carriers. Made the pants as indicated on the pattern, but might need to hem up the length as they seem particularly long.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Definitely will plan to sew again. Since the sizes larger than this one are in a separate envelope, I'll be planning to buy it again too.
Conclusion:
Very happy with this pattern. Aside from the part where it doesn't have a top/nightgown included for non-knit fabrics, I almost wouldn't need any other girls nightwear patterns. |
