Pattern Description: Misses Blouse and Tunic: Fitted blouse or tunic has front tucks and button band, shaped hemline and narrow hem. View E has pleated sleeves, seam opening on sleeves with button cuff, collar band.
Pattern Sizing: B5 (8, 10, 12, 14, 16), F5 (16, 18, 20, 22, 24) I made size 12. The pattern runs a little small...I usually make a 10 in a blouse.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? I made view E and I think it looks like the envelope drawing.
Were the instructions easy to follow? The pattern is rated 'Easy' and I thought it was easy.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I love pretty much everything about this pattern. This will be my go-to button-down pattern from now on. Everything fit together perfectly. No dislikes.
Fabric Used: I used an 'Italian Classic Cotton shirting' from EOS. This fabric is just dreamy...it's got some body to it, it's not a thin, see-through cotton and it sews and irons beautifully. View E takes 1 5/8 yd. I used my favorite thread from Superior Threads...So Fine 50. Interfacing used was from Palmer/Pletsch in Light.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: The only thing I did differently than the instructions was I omitted the slipstitching in the 3 areas it was suggested...the collar band, the front band, and the sleeve cuffs. You edgestitch those areas anyway and everything fits together so well that I found the slipstitching to be unnecessary. I made no other changes and no fit alterations.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I will absolutely sew this again and probably other views as well.
I recommend this pattern to everyone looking for a great button-down. I'm surprised there aren't more reviews for it. There are 6 different views, 2 lengths, short and long sleeve, ruffles or not; all views have the front tucks.
Conclusion: I just love this shirt. I am making the SA Marni jacket and will model this shirt with the jacket shortly. Please overlook the wrinkles...I did not do a final press.

I love this, and I'm sure you will get a lot of wear out of this blouse. The pleats/tucks almost remind me of Jalie 2919 which I love so I definitely need to check out this pattern now. Thanks for the great review and great work as always!
