| Pattern Description:
Girls' and boys' pajamas and/or nightgown in two lengths.
Pattern Sizing:
HH(3-4-5-6), I did 4 and 6.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes, although the shorts were rather longer than those on the envelope.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
This was a really basic pattern and well suited for whipping up some fun pjs for my boys. That said, the amount of ease in the armsyce was crazy huge to me. The boys were clamoring for their new pjs so I just did the best I could but there is a bit of puckering still--then again perhaps this was just user error. Those arms are small on little kids! If I make it again, I will definitely measure to make sure there isn't too much drafted and then trim down the seam allowances first.
Also, the pattern called for "midweight" interfacing. I question this but went ahead and followed the instructions. Wish I had used lightweight instead. The inside collars and edges are a bit stiff for my liking.
Fabric Used:
I let the boys pick out their fabrics. One chose a Star Trek cotton, and the other Space Monkeys. Both were on sale at Joann.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
None.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I might. I'd like to try a softer flannel next time. I wouldn't really tell someone else that it is a MUST HAVE. But it did the job.
Conclusion:
This is a decent pattern. This was a fun project for the boys and me.

Your photo is precious! Look at the expression on the little guy on the left and the one on the right on his tipeoes! Love sewing for children! A happy project!

How cute! Thanks for reviewing this. I have this and plan on making my son some PJs too. I also find weird issues with the kids patterns from the Big 4 so it's helpful to have your info.
