Pattern Description: Per the Vogue Patterns website: MISSES' TOP: Close-fitting, pullover, mock wrap top has front extending into standing back collar and stitched hems. A and B: narrow hem armholes and sleeves B. I made View C twice - once with a modified short sleeve, and once as shown with long sleeves.
Pattern Sizing: F5 (16-18-20-22-24). I sewed a 16 on top and tapered to an 18 at the bottom.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes!
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes, but to be honest, it took me 3x making this top to finally get it. I'm not sure you can see all the pics with this post, but you can see them here on my blog. With the exception of steps 6-8, where I got hung up trying to attach the back to the front, I found this to be truly very easy.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? It is really an easy pattern to sew, just 3 pattern pieces (for View C). It's a very flattering style and being tall, I love the longer length of the top and the length of the sleeves - no alterations for me!
Fabric Used: In both cases, ITY jersey print
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: No, in fact - I am 6 ft tall and my arms are long. I did not make any alterations to the length of the bodice or sleeves and this top is really long on me. I love it, but if you're shorter, you might want to go way down in size or take it up.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes!
Conclusion: Great versatile top pattern. Love the style, easy to sew - what more could you want?!

This top looks terrific on your lengthy self! Thanks for the note about possibly sizing down a bit. I just finished tracing off a size 14 for my 38" bosom, but being a little concerned by the fact that the finished bust measurement was only 36", I thought I might have to do a FBA and more.

Thanks, Elona. I found there was an awful "lot of room" - hopefully it will all work out for you. I look forward to your review!

This pattern runs big and long. Yours is very pretty!

Great fabric choice! So flattering on you! I'm 5'10" so good to hear about a pattern that does not have to be lengthened.

Love both versions but especially the green one!

I made this to twice too, and you are spot on about the stretchiness of the fabric used being an important sizing issue for this design. Low stretch knits and you get a very slim fitting sleeve, loose knit and you get a saggy front...well unless you have the bosoms to fill it! This is a great pattern!
