Pattern Description: From the Magazine:
"What a lovely sight. In any case these trendy 7/8 length pants with turn ups/cuffs and slanted welt pockets will turn your legs into attention grabbers. The stretch sateen fabric has a slight sheen making the garment not only comfortable but also perfect for parties!"

All pictures here

Because everyone wants to see what wrinkles you got in the back.
Pattern Sizing:34-42

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?Yes.

Were the instructions easy to follow?
Fine but you should know how to do a welt pocket and not count on Burda's instructions.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
No dislikes.
Likes:
1)Adorable style with the capri cut and cuff at bottom
2)Excellent drafting with the welt pockets
3)Excellent style with the waist being not too high OR too low!

Fabric Used:
Stretch Cotton Sateen Emma One sock

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
If you know about pants alterations, read on. If not, you'll just be bored.
1)Vertical tuck down the back pant pattern in tissue
2)Wedge alteraltion ala Sticthes and Seams
3)Increased back and front inseam lengths
4)Palmer and Pletsch with elastic around my waist: I pulled up the front crotch at least an inch more than the back piece to get rid of a very large crotch bubble in front. (i.e. I cut off the front pants in fabric about an inch but not the back before sewing the waistband on).

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Absolutely

Conclusion: Excellent pattern.

Capri is such a tricky length but it works beautifully on you. The print and the heels are great styling.
