| Pattern Description: Multi-sport skirt with choice of attached hot pants or compression shorts. The pockets at each side band can hold your keys or MP3 player. I made a modified version of the skort... actually I made a skirt only.
Pattern Sizing: Girls to women's plus sizes! Girls size 2 to women's size 22. I cut a size W in the waist and graded to an AA for the hips, bum, thighs. I made the wider waistband.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes.
Were the instructions easy to follow? This is my second time using this pattern, the instructions are clear and have wonderful illustrations.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? The pockets... the deep, deep pockets! I took this skirt for a run already and my keys stayed put. Also, it's so well designed for maximum comfort. As The skirt felt invisible as I ran, I had to actually reach down to see if it was still in place and doing it's job (covering my butt!) It was, and there was no tugging or pulling with each stride. I find that RTW shorts can tug on my thighs.
Fabric Used: Supplex (nylon and spandex blend), polyester/spandex knit. All from Fabric Mart.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I actually made this just a skirt... no compression shorts or attached hot pants. I already have compression shorts and tights on my running gear drawer and wanted to try a skirt over them. This skirt is a perfect substitute for RTW running shorts I always wear over tights/compression shorts (I find RTW shorts too short for me, maybe because I'm a little taller then the average lady?)
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes, I'll make this again. I highly recommend this skirt, with or without the attached shorts/hot pants since you can wear your own under there, too.
Conclusion: Love! More here on my blog, including some running tops from a Jalie sports bra pattern.

Sweet running skirt! Love the zebra contrast on the red fabric. And nice running wardrobe! :) All looks very RTW.

Great idea to make just the skirt to wear over running tights in the winter.
