Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
I made the Jacket and skirt. I didnt end up finishing the skirt because the style really didn't suit my body shape but I really loved the jacket. I think I might have made mine slightly big but at least its pretty comfortable and will be nice for winter. The photos on my blog show skirt pattern 2701.

Were the instructions easy to follow?
The instructions were great Vogue is fantastic to follow. No hard points that I can remember.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
The jacket it really well made and fully lined so its a beautiful fit. The style of the jacket is really nice I love the collar and the pockets weren't really hard either. I first thought they were welt pockets but they are 'fake' pockets that you just sew the top onto the jacket. For my first suit jacket this was perfect. I love that you can choose 2 different sleeve options as well I chose the longer sleeve. I also ended up making a really large fabric button to match the jacket and I loved how it turned out.

Its a Poly Cotton Jacquard from Tessuti Fabric.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
No pattern alterations for the jacket.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I would happily sew this jacket again. I probably wouldn't do the skirt just as I mentioned the fit wasn't great. The layers on the front tend to make my thighs look bigger which is what I try to avoid lol!! I probably would attempt to make the skirt from Vogue 8603.
