Pattern Description:
Oversized, pullover tops (wrong side may show). A: bias collar and sleeve bands. B and C: single layer hood, purchased drawstring. A, B, C: narrow hem. D: topstitched three-piece collar, sleeve and hem bands.
Pattern Sizing: XS-XXL
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes it does look like the line drawing. Full Length photo.
Were the instructions easy to follow? Super-easy. I made version A, which is probably the easiest to make.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I was looking for something comfortable and casual, to kind of dress down a more dressy fabric. Here it is Tucked In.
Fabric Used: A silk chiffon. It has a striped border along one selvage, and the rest is this beautiful floral watercolor print. I had enough to make a dress, but I wanted to make something that I would wear more often. I looked through my pattern stash, and saw this oversized pullover pattern. I thought- this is a pattern that I could wear everyday. What if I made it out of the silk chiffon?
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I removed about 6 inches total volume from each side. This is a very voluminous pattern.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes, I would. I think it is a great casual top. I'd love to try the one with the topstitched collar and unusual hem.
Conclusion: Fun pattern, but I would recommend reducing the ease. All pictures can be seen on My Blog

Your version of the top has definitely improved the look of the actual pattern. I love, love, love the fabric! Very flattering top on you wore tucked or untucked.
