What a wonderful way to 'commemorate' your first card weaving--you can enjoy it everyday with this practical satchel. I like the modifications to the strap, too, and the metal belt ends are a great way to finish the ribbon end. You know, I kind of create a shank for buttons by inserting a round toothpick between fabric and button as I sew the button in place. Then I remove the toothpick and there is an automatic thread shank. That's an option although you might still prefer to use a button having its own shank. Enjoy this highly personalized satchel. Oh, the lining is perfect, too.
