Thanks everyone! BeaJay you can overlock or flatlock. For this top the pieces were simply overlocked together and in the earlier top the joins were flatlocked (without overlocking).

Another wonderful top Dilliander. I must ask (for future reference) do you overlock the seams first and then flatlock or do you just flatlock - I want to try out that technique.
