Pattern Description: From Jalie: Drop pocket open front cardigan that hits just below the hips. The sleeve is fitted and designed to be worn over a sleeveless top or dress. The double-layer front provides a great finish and allows the use of constrast fabric where the inside of the cardigan becomes the outside of the pocket.

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?yes
Were the instructions easy to follow?yes. Jalie instructions are wonderful. Like all their other patterns, the diagrams are very helpful and the construction of the pockets is clever and accounts intelligently for things like eliminating bulk in the pocket via how they have you trim it.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?I love the slouchy "Oh, this old thing I just tossed on?" kind of style.
Fabric Used:double faced sweater knit
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:I used this as a platform for embellishing as I didn't want to end up with a boring brown sweater. embellishment detail
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I probably won't sew this again unless the perfect sweater knit comes my way. This is a distinct style, but I wouldn't pass up this pattern because of that. The return on investment on your time is high here given that you end up with a cardigan that you can literally toss on over anything.
Conclusion: Another Jalie winner. More on my blog. ~E Made This
