This is my second version of this very versatile (but now OOP) pattern. Cardigans are one of my wardrobe staples so I can never have enough. This one is made from a lovely sweater knit with black ponte band. The ponte is a very lightweight fabric & would make very comfy pants.
I did my usual FBA and changed the shape of the sleeve head somewhat. This cardigan is quite short & I have lengthened it already but think that it could do with some more. Also, the pattern only tells you to stabilise the straight front piece and then only after you've already added the band. I stabilised the entire neckline before adding the band so it didn't stretch out. I'm very happy with how it's turned out.
Conclusion A very simple, easy-to-sew cardigan. I love this pattern & highly recommend it if you can get your hands on it.
