About the straight of grain issue ... My pants were a stripe, and I can see on the pants how the stripe tends to curve in, even though I was very careful to put the grainline on a stripe. I've heard that the slinky knit is more difficult to work with on this pattern, so I didn't try it first. Maybe next time.

I have made this pant in a slinky knit and didn't care for it all. It is impossible to get the center front and center back leg on the straight of grain because where a side seam would be is cut on the grainline. I find that causes the pants to hang funny below the knee. Did you have that problem?

Wow thanks for the review - I am just about to start making these pants for the first time so am grateful for your feedback! Post a photo if you get the chance - I'd love to see them!
