Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes, I followed these directions for the zip insertion http://www.threadsmagazine.com/item/3831/video-an-easy-flat-fly-front-zipper
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I have made this three times so I really like it for the fit and ease of sewing.
Fabric Used: Corduroy
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I had to take in the centre back seam at the waistline as it gapes on me. I also reduced the waistband to match. For the pockets I used a lighter weight fabric and just included the pants fabric as a pocket insert where it would show at front. I also sewed the lower parts of the belt loops on the garment before I attached the waistband making it a little bit neater finish. I also included a zip placket. All photos on Flickr. The inside of my garments are not as lovely looking as some. I don't have the patience to bind the seams so just use the overlocker for neatening. Too much other stuff to do!!
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes a definite recommend, and have already sewn it three times and is my go to pattern for jeans.
Conclusion: A quick and neat pattern that fits well for me. Highly recommended.
