Pattern Description: Loose fitting dress has collar with casing, yokes, princess seams, side pockets, back pleat, and hem band.
Pattern Sizing: 8-16. I made a 10 because other reviews said that it ran very big. This is definitely two sizes smaller than I would normally sew.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow? I found them easy to follow.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I like how breezy it is for summer and I love the details of the princess seams in front. It made it seem slimmer in spite of how flared it is in the skirt.
Fabric Used: A very light weight cotton that was embroidered with white thread in a vertical pattern.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I didn't make any changes to the size 10. I am 5'2" and the length was perfect for a summer dress. That said, if you are taller, you may want to make some adjustment for length. Even though my version called for a zipper, I used buttons because I thought the zipper would be too heavy on such a light fabric.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?I'm tempted to make Version C in an interesting black -- maybe voile -- something a bit funky for the fall.
