|Pattern Description: Lola is a spin off of the classic crew neck sweater. This comfortable slip on dress features raglan sleeves, ribbed hem bands, front neckline “V” detail, and oversized wrap around pockets . The curved seams give a relaxed, feminine fit. This project is ideal for a serger and is easy to wear when you want to be cozy in style!|
Pattern Sizing:Pattern includes a size range from 2-16. This pattern is printable on letter and international A4 paper. Lengthening/shortening instructions and fabric cutting diagrams are included along with a list of everything you'll need to make this garment.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? It sure did!
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes. I bought the pdf version and it was so easy to put together (one of the easiest I've come across) and the instructions were thorough and clear. I didn't stumble over anything.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I love the design of the pockets, I feel like they hide my thighs perfectly which makes me feel entirely confident whilst wearing this dress out and about.
Fabric Used: A textured fleecy knit.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: No changes needed by me, though when I made the first one I did longer sleeves, more 3/4 length which looks nice and may be something I'll do again if I make another one (I have made 3 so not sure I need any more).
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Absolutely!
Conclusion: This dress is a great Winter wardrobe staple. I love it over jeggings or leggings with high boots or low boots. It is an easy sew and can be done in an afternoon.
