|My mom has the same SM as I do but--gasp!--no SM cover! When I sent her pictures of the cover I made for mine, here, she replied with, "I want one." Unfortunately, it wasn't until a year later, but I decided to make her a cover for Christmas with lovely fabric from City Quilter here in NYC. |
Using some tracing paper, I made a basic / rough tracing of my sewing machine and used those measurements to create the cover. The back, top, and front is once piece and the sides are a basic rectangular shape. I added some iron-on lining where the cord is attached to the machine and then used pinking shears to create a little vent.
As a part of the gift I made a matching sewing apron. Now I need to make one of these for me!
