Skirt with options
>Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Were the instructions easy to follow?
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I am biased here as I hate sewing curves, they always stretch no mattern how carefully I handle them, so I usually avoid them like the plague. So I really dont know why I chose this pattern.
It was a wool mix with a silver metallic thread, which proved to be very difficult to press it seemed to pucker if too hot, pressing was slow and lengthy with low setting and a wet pressing cloth, also the fabric didnt like my top stitching puckering again. (picture doesnt really do the skirt justice
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I would recommend it to others if you like sewing curves. I dont think I would sew it again. For all the effort in making it, partly due to fabric choice Im not that proud of it. My top-stitching doesnt define the shapes enough for all the work involved, yet I used a darker thread.
A nice fitted skirt with topstitching for someone who doesnt mind sewing curves.
