I finally made this after having it for years and agree with you on the back neck facing flappyness and the front facing/pockets. I had cut a deeper curve for the neck facing and did tack it down at the shoulder seams. The pockets are annoying. Currently they are tacked to the front facing. I think there was a tutorial on this on the Jalie site as referenced in the pattern but it is gone now. Otherwise it is an exceptionally well fitting coat.

Hey, what size did you make? And could you measure the inside of the coat at the bust line? I'm trying to determine the difference between the "size" and the finished circumference.

Nice flattering design lines on this pattern. I would never have thought that fabric was denim. Very unusual jacket and it looks great on you.

This jacket has WOW factor written all over it - I love it so much I could steal it. Would never have thought this was a denim fabric - it's so different in a very nice way

Love this jacket and our winters are not northern hemisphere winters, so it's perfect - lined.
