Nice job on a "kicky" dress as we used to say. It reminded me of how much fun those dresses were to wear after years of scratchy 50s crinolines!

the bottom knit band just makes this dress. Isn't it great when a problem--like a fabric shortage-- forces a deviation from the expected! This is just beautiful.
