Description: Close-fitting, pullover dresses have neckline variations, and stitched hems.
Fabric Used: Stretch Plaid (Sold Out) from GorgeousFabrics.com
Pattern Sizing: I cut out a size 12. I didn't want it too close-fitting.
Were the Instructions easy to follow? Yes! One of the easiest pattern I've ever worked with.
Likes or Dislikes about the Pattern: I love the fact that it's an easy pattern to make and there are so many different ways to alter it.
Pattern Alterations or Design Changes made: Yes..
- Pattern: Cut out 12 inches from the bottom of the dress pattern
- Fabric: Cut out two 10 x 31 inches wide from the fabric
- Sewed the two pieces together to form two side seams of a Flounce (a wide ornamental strip of material gathered and sewn to a piece of fabric, typically on a skirt or dress.) You can make the flounce as long or wide as you like.
- Gathered the top edge of the flounce and attached it to the bottom edge of the dress. Voila!
Would you Sew it again? Most definitely.. This is now one of my Go-To Patterns.
