Pattern Description:
MISSES' LINED DRESS: Lined, pullover dress has underlined bodice and midriff, invisible side zipper, back neck hook & eye closure, and raw edge finish. A/B,C,D cup sizes. Note: Skirt is cut on crosswise grain of fabric, and no provisions are provided for above waist adjustment.
Pattern Sizing:
I made a 12 but took in the waist
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Were the instructions easy to follow?
They were ok. I remember the first time I made it, I had trouble with the lining
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
The way the pattern has you do the lining can be challenging. It could also have to do with me having sewn for two months when I first attempted this pattern. I love the back cut outs
Fabric Used:
A stretch lace, nude lining, and a light pink tulle
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I lowered the neckline since it is a cocktail dress. Then I drafted my own sleeves for it since it does not come with a template for a sleeve. It is a lace overlay so I do not have it sewn to my lining at most of the cut outs as the pattern directs you to do. I also added a row of tulle at the bottom to make the hem float and make it even more girly. While I was sewing, I forgot I was putting sleeves in so I accidentally left my zipper on the side of the dress. I can still get in and out but it requires a little more shimmying
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
No I think this is my last time sewing this one. I think this dress can go many different ways depending on the fabric.
A beautiful dress with more design features that I am pleased mccalls included. The back cut outs really make this dress stand out.

This is stunning and it does look very challenging to make! All of the fabrics you used must have been a pain to work with!
