Pattern Description:
A simple, but cute A-Line skirt with an inverted pleat detail.
Pattern Sizing:
Pattern sizing is ok, but I found the waist to be a bit large for me.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes, but I made the shorter version. There are three different lengths.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
I didn't follow the instructions, but essentially, it's darts, a side seam, a zipper and a waist band. Quick...I made my version last night.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
It's an easy pattern that is simple to modify for sizing. I did not like that I needed to remove 1.5" to 2" off the waist...but, again, it's easy to fit & fix.
Fabric Used:
Cotton twill chevron print. LOVE it!
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
Outside of needing to make the waist band smaller, I also added a grosgrain waist band since I chose to make it without a lining. I have made it before with a lining. It's also simple to add it, even though the pattern doesn't call for it.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes and yes. This is my second version. My first version was a beautiful red wool.

Conclusion:
Great pattern, a quick make, cute style.
