Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes. The way my skirt hangs is a little off, but that's because of how heavy my fabric was. The pattern specifies a lightweight wool - this isn't quite heavy, but it's heavier than what I'd call lightweight. There are other somewhat heavy fabrics listed as suggestions, but I would suggest only using those with the A-line views, and using the lighter fabrics (challis and crepe etc.) with the gored trumpet skirt views.

Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes. This is a pretty easy sew, even though it has more seams than the simplest skirts out there. I didn't do a great job of the zipper, but I'm not sure if that's the fact that I haven't done a lapped zipper in a long while, or the instructions to blame.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
The swish! Really though, this is a great, yet simple skirt that can get a lot of wear. Depending on how you choose to style it, it can be appropriate for a range of occasions.
The skirt does have a very nice swish to it. I've made these previously for swing dancing, and they are great for that purpose.

Fabric Used:
A nice wool from A Fashionable Stitch.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
Cut off a couple of inches at the bottom to make it a length appropriate for 5'3" me. I probably should have paid more attention to a lengthen/shorten line somewhere along the way.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes, I'll definitely sew it again.
