A number of organizations have assisted in the revival of the silk industry in Cambodia and it is possible to buy beautiful scarves and other items throughout the country, but I did not see silk by the metre until I came to Tabitha.
The shop in Phnom Penh is a delight to visit with lots of beautiful handicrafts for sale. To one side is a small room full of bolts of silk of different weights and in a stunning range of colours. I bought two lengths. One is a check pattern and the other, slightly heavier, is a green and apricot shot silk. Both are about one metre wide and both were $12 US per metre. This seemed to be the going rate for most of the fabric. One of our party bought some beautiful silk organza, and I now regret not getting some myself.
The streets in Phnom Penh are numbered, making Tabitha easy to find. Most hotels would be an easy tuk tuk ride.
Shopping there was a very pleasant experience and it supported a very worthy cause.
