Have you bought anything from this store? If yes were the prices competitive? Yes-- good prices for high end quilting fabrics, very competitive prices on select notions. Indie patterns at good prices. I stopped in today because I wanted a Colette pattern, but I wanted to get it sooner than ordering online. Also, it is always nice to shop local at a small family run shop. This is a small shop, BUT for its size, it has a lovely selection of fabric and a really impressive amount of cool trims.
Were the sales people polite and friendly?VERY! This tiny but well organized and well stocked store was overflowing with shoppers today, and the one person working was very friendly, helpful and professional.
How would you rate the quality of the item this store sells?Excellent-- Moda fabrics, for example. Amy Butler, etc. Nice selection of indie patterns. They have Sewaholic! Also lots of kids patterns (Figge's, for example) and bag patterns too.
How was your shopping experience? Excellent! I wish I had picked up the almost yard remnant of fabric that I loved. I'll probably be back soon to get it.
Is there anything you did not like about this store?I wish they had garment fabrics. They do have some voiles and some heavier fabrics and linen/ linen blends.
Would you recommend this store to others? Yes! A lovely little shop in the Clintonville area.
Any other comments you would like to add? I can't believe this is the first review of this little gem of a store. Fellow Columbusites, after having a salad at North Star, pop over and check it out!
