Have you bought anything from this store? If yes were the prices competitive? Yes, I bought two Liberty Tana Lawn prints and three Deer and Doe patterns. Prices were as expected for these items.
Were the sales people polite and friendly? Yes, very. They were working on their own projects, but were helpful and enthusiastic. One of the projects was getting an online store up and running, so that will be an option if Cleveland is too far for an in-person visit.
How would you rate the quality of the item this store sells? Excellent quality! They carry Liberty fabrics, and I also observed many linens, voiles, a few knits and some Japanese cottons. Pattern lines include Deer and Doe (which is why I went), Colette, Sewaholic, Serendipity Studios, Figgy childrens' wear and others. They also run classes; there's a tote bag class coming up soon.
How was your shopping experience. Is there anything you did not like about this store? This is a tiny shop, housed in the Murray Hill Galleries, a building with several other artisans. It's bright and airy and has cutting and sewing stations set up for classes. It is a small collection, but a lovely selection. There are no mad deals to be had here, but prices are fair for the exquisite goods on offer.
Would you shop here again? Absolutely! Cleveland is within a days' drive of Toronto and I can see myself returning on a long week-end. Or, at the very least, ordering from them when that is an option.
Would you recommend this store to others? Yes! If this is your kind of thing, absolutely!
Any other comments you would like to add? Be aware, shop hours are Wed-Sat 12-5. There is limited parking at the galleries, but I got lucky! There is also off street parking in the neighbourhood. Just wear good shoes as the streets are cobblestone.
