Have you bought anything from this store? If yes were the prices competitive? Yes, I have purchased items at the physical store and through their website. Every item that I checked was competitive on price (and the lower sales tax rate even saved me money).
Were the sales people polite and friendly? Absolutely, but it is Texas and almost all of the sales people that I've encountered are polite and friendly (I grew up there, but now I only visit family a couple of times a year). :)
How would you rate the quality of the item this store sells? If you are looking for high quality quilting cotton, this is an amazing store. While I was there, I bought fabrics from Michael Miller, Alexander Henry, Tula Pink for Free Spirit, Moda, and even some laminated Amy Butler.
How was your shopping experience. Is there anything you did not like about this store? The shopping experience was exceptional. The store is large and thoughtfully set up. There is plenty space to walk through and peruse all of the beautiful fabric.
For the order that I placed online, I was delighted to receive notification that my items shipped the same day as the order was placed. I was also impressed when I received an email response to a question within an hour of sending it.
I have also signed up for one of their block of the month quilts where they ship the fabric to you on a monthly basis (or you can pick them up if you are local to the store), so I am hopeful that I will have just as good of an experience.
What don't I like? It's over 2,000 miles away from my home in Seattle, and I can't do all of my fabric shopping there (or at least most of it). In all seriousness, I did think it was a little hard to spot from the freeway (US-75/Central Expressway) access road. It is tucked back into a shopping center, but it is extremely easy to find again once you know it is there.
Would you shop here again? Without a doubt. It is on my must visit list for when I'm in Dallas.
Would you recommend this store to others? Absolutely. I already have. Based on the store calendar, I would sign up for classes there too if I lived in the area (or if there is anything that sounds interesting while I'm visiting).
Any other comments you would like to add? I think this is easily my favorite fabric store. It is large enough to not feel like you are in a can of sardines but not so large that it is overwhelming. It was far larger than I expected with a MUCH greater selection than I had even hoped to see.
