Cut the bias 2 X width needed + 1/2''. I use 3'' width for most of mine. Fold bias in half with wrong sides together so raw edges meet. Pin in place with raw edges of bias meeting raw edges of neckline/sleeve. Sew using 1/4'' seams. Clip curves if needed, fold bias over the raw edges then handwhip the folded edge down just covering the first stitching line. By having the bias already folded you get a much smoother edge line and don't have to mess with trying to keep the same amount of fabric turned under as you go around the curves. The double layer keeps the fold the same distance from the stitch line.
