| I recently discovered that marking corresponding notches with different color washout markers can very helpful during bra construction. For instance, the Pin-up Girls Shelley Bra pattern has notches (actually small tick marks) on the (4) cup and front band pieces designated as, "A", "B" and "C". I used a blue mark for A notches, pink for B notches and purple for C notches --- doing so really helped while sewing together an unfamiliar type of garment, and prevented me from inadvertently seaming the wrong pieces together. |
