|This was the first ever sewing expo in Omaha, Nebraska. It was held at the Qwest Center June 15-17, 2006, with a pre-show workshop day on the 14th with day-long classes that day.
PCM Expo puts on sewing expos all over the country, and they say they will be back in Omaha next year. I hope so, as this was quite a good show, although it should be much better next year as they become more familiar with the area, and (I hope) attract more vendors and more attendees.
The vendors who were there were very good, but more would have been even better, of course! Talking to others who attended, we felt that the local and area advertising was pretty lacking. Many people only just happened to have heard about this. The producers were there, and were asking for, and happily taking suggestions on how to improve next year. This gives me great hopes that they will put on this expo next year, and will also improve it.
Classes were given by:
Mary Lou Rankin
and quite a few others.
Trunk shows were given 4 times a day in the Vendor Hall.
Linda Lee- Sewing Workshop
Japanese Textiles and Tours
Park Bench Pattern Co.
Sulky of America
The Texas Quiltery
Whims Watercolor Quilt Kits
