I am also going to review the individual classes I took, but here I am reviewing the vendors' mall.
This was such a disappointment for a garment sewer. There were even less garment oriented vendors than last year. I found only 4 booth's carrying garment fabric-and one was Hancock's! The selection at Vogue Fabrics was more limited than I had expected (they had a smaller area than last year) and I found nothing truly special. The Wool House did have some lovely wools, linens and cotton shirtings.
My impression as I walked through was that machine embroidery and long arm quilting were the dominant vendors.
I would really love to see more diversity at the vendors' mall.

I'm a little late with this post. I was wondering if I had missed something also. Where were all the great button vendors and such???I agree with your review. Hopefully next year will be more promisng for the garment sewer!

Maybe that was a good thing. I spent much less than I had budgeted. I wanted to be impressed with my restraint...but there just weren't that many temptations.

I agree totally with you. Vogue had some nice fabric, but their selection was definitely less than past years. I bought less fabric this year than ever before. I too feel that embroidery and quilting vendors were the dominant vendor. I found myself not shopping as much this year.
