I use 35 mm film canisters for storage. I have my snaps sorted by size & stored in these. I also use them to store needles & pins. These canisters are great for anything small that needs to be organzied. And you can write on the outside with a permanent marker.

Great tip! I have used one in the past for my used needles, but now store them in a "M&M's minis" container since I have a digital camera and don't use film anymore.

Along the same lines, another way you can store the small items is in prescription bottles. They come in a few different sizes and you can see what is in them. I unfortunately have a LOT of meds a month so I have plenty to choose from.
