Sarah Veblen was our instructor for a class on "Understanding Wools" here on PR in January. The class consisted of a kit that included 26 yummy wool samples plus a half scale pattern for either a straight or flared skirt with enough wool crepe and china silk to make up our choice of design. The samples were key so that we could see and examine the fabrics under discussion.
There were four chats along with 11 lessons sent via PDF files as well as an open discussion board that was password protected. The lessons were sent in a timely manner so that we had a chance to read them prior to the chats.
Sarah was great in responding to our questions as well as giving us examples of her use of some of the fabrics. We were encouraged to make our own explorations and observations. She really made sure that we understood the materials--an excellent teacher!!
Edited to fix a typo. The form required a location even though the class is online, so I put my own state.
