I came across a website called timmelfabriss.com and when you click the sewing lessons you can see what kind of knits there are with good examples how to indentify and how to work with and how to sew with them.

Danku, this is indeed a great source of information for knits. Nova Scotia is a beautiful region of Canada, if you ever come to our country, may be you will have a chance to see it.

I agree, those lessons at Timmelfabrics are very helpful and easy to follow. I used the instructions for binding the neck edge of a t-shirt with self-fabric and it turned out very nice.
