For anyone who wants to learn how to make quilts, taking a beginner class with a good instructor is very important.
I took the Beginner/Intermediate quilting class given by Libby Hage at Quilted Treasures, Atco, NJ.
Libby is a AQS Certified Instructor. Her class is taught over 6 weeks. The quilt you make during the class is a 9 block quilt. Each block in the quilt teaches you a different technique.
When you are finished, you have a completed quilt and you can use these techniques to make almost any quilt.. Also, once finished, you are ready to take any advanced class.
Taking a class like this teaches you the correct way select fabrics, how to correctly piece your quilt and how to finish.
I would highly recommend that you take this class. |
