Featured in the PR book!
I recently started using Swiffer dry cloths to clean the mechanical parts of my sewing machine. Even my mini-vacuum utensil can't get into most corners, but by wrapping a Swiffer cloth around the end of a chopstick, I can get more buildup out as the sewing lint clings to the cloth, and it leaves no fibers behind.

Expanding on this idea, I tried a Swiffer Duster on my serger, and this works, too. I now keep one handy to "dust" the outside of my serger as I go to keep debris from collecting. Plus it's handy on my sewing tables as well.

Swiffer dusters are my new best friend. I have used them in my sewing area, but not on my machines YET! I will now. Thanks for the tip.
