|Fabulous! Fabulous! Fabulous!
The Puyallup expo was wonderful. Great patterns, great vendors, and, wait for this, great fabric. The expo topics and vendors included quilting, fashion sewing, crafts, patterns, notions, and software not to mention equipment vendors.
I did not get to go to any of the seminars as I decided to go at the last minute and the ones I wanted were sold out. I did go to several of the free shows including the Masquerade show sponsored by Bernina, Martha Pullen, Linda MacPhee, and the 4H fashion show which included the winners of the Make It Yourself With Wool winners.
I went through every showroom three times and bought lots of fun stuff including some lovely Thai brocade silk from Vogue Fabrics. I think my carry on baggage weighed close to 25 pounds. My stash now includes some other nice silks, batiks from Batik Butik (thanks to everyone from Patternreview), Pacific Fabrics and Crafts, and Fabric.com.
In short, I'm pooped and it was great.
