| This was my third consecutive visit to this expo. I love to go to the expo. It is like a vacation to me. I go all four days which includes the "More the day before" class. I love to buy fabric and love to see varieties of fabrics. For the last 3 years, the only major fabric vendors that come are Wool House and Vogue Fabrics. I love Vogue Fabrics, but they need more room to bring more of their fabrics. The expo in Ohio is in March. I would like to see more fabrics for spring and summer, cottons, linens, and knits. I have several sewing machines, my recent purchase being a Bernina. They were not at the expo this year. I was told it was not worth the set-up time and money. I usually take classes from Peggy Sagers. I took a class with Lorraine Henry which was very helpful. I love the serger classes with the Viking 936; the instructor is awesome. I would like to visit other sewing expos and if anyone has any suggestions, please offer them to me. |
I just wanted to let you know that there will be a PCM expo just outside of Cincinnatti, Ohio starting on June 28h thru June 30th. It will be held at the Sharonville Convention Center. You can get information at pcmexpo.com. Vogue fabrics will be there. Cynthia Guffy, Barb Callahan, Kathy Ruddy and others will be doing classes. I personally have never been to this expo, but most of the expos are interesting and a lot of fun.

The Atlanta Sewing Expo in March is excellent. I've been three times and use it as my personal vacation like you do. If you have a chance to go, I would highly recommend it. jean
