Featured in the PR book!
I found a large fold up white foam board that I use to trace my patterns. I put it down on my cutting table, place the sheet from burda magazine on top of it and then dew sew (white material that's easy to see through and can be stitched to try on) and use flat push pins to hold down the pattern. I place the push pins around the outside shape of the pattern. Makes it easier to see which shape to follow and keeps everything in place. The rulers make the tracing faster and keep lines smoother than trying to do it free hand. Then I doule check to make sure all darts markings are transfered and include the pattern info along with month year of magazine and my mearuments date

If at a later point I need to sew up a test fit I put the marked pattern on to dew sew and cut it out. Only 1/2 of the pattern needs to be marked.
