Sewing with Nancy has tutorial videos on her web site. I know about this site because PR member Peggy L informed us about Nancy’s video’s back in August under web site talk. The reason that I mentioning this in the tip section I’m hoping more people will see this since Nancy’s video tips stay on her web site for only a short time only to be replaced with yet another good video. This one in particular is great for someone like me who is learning the art of sewing. It is titled Fancy Footwork and there are three parts. You can also purchase her book titled the same for $19.99. The videos are a great tool because you get to see what you read about and it gives you ideas that you (well I) would never think of doing. The first video shows demonstrations on the open toe foot, fringe foot, multi-cord foot and edge joint foot. Second video shows cording and piping foot, edgestitching foot, pintuck, overcast guide foot. Third video shows specialty feet for quilting: little foot/patchwork foot, curve master foot and big foot and ruffler foot. Here is the link Nancy Video's Fancy Footwork . Hope you enjoy them as much as i do. Coleen

I have been tempted to say I have a foot f****h, but know better! HAHHA...I have a "Foot Acquisition Disease" - a FAD?? I watched these videos last week, and found them great. You can not only get the book, but Nancy's Notions sells the DVD to go with it and that has these videos! I have recently bought three of her videos. Very thorough and you can learn a lot. The quality is just that of a VHS tape copied to DVDs. But I love them.

rhonda i think a foot stash would be perfectly acceptable - but beware you could end up being coined as someone with a foot fetish haa haa

Hi Coleen! I was surprised when I watched Nancy's videos that I DON'T HAVE these feet... I've got a box full, but not these... What does that MEAN?? Do I start a "Foot Stash"??

HeyJane, The videos are the best for instant gratification though while you wait or consider getting the book ;)

Thanks misscoleen, I have a million feet around here that came with various machines, still don't know how to properly use half of them. Sounds like yet another book I should get so I finally utilize these things. :)
