Featured in the PR book!
I've just did a duct tape dress form with a friend and when I was setting everything up and testing the scissors they got quite sticky.

I took them apart and used some sewing machine oil on them and to my surprise that took care of the gummy stuff, too. It was easy to wipe it off with a cloth! Never would have thought of using oil for cleaning tape gunk, but it worked great.

wd 40 works well on sticky stuff too, like cleaning the left over glue off of your work surface , like that fabric glue or E600.
