While at a favorite thrift store, I purchased a large neck-roll pillow because the pillow was firm and larger than most. I removed its cover and separated the ends and ruffle from itself. Press the pieces flat and created the pattern. I had also purchased a pair of slacks which I used for the fabric for my neck pillow. In total I spent $3. When pricing such items in dept. stores, my pillow would carry an $80 price tag. It's a great way to be a designer and recycle at the same time.

Good idea. I made my first neck pillow for my daughter. She loved it. I made my pattern. I also made one for myself to use in the bathtub.

it sounds great fryman, couldn't get to the pic though. I started like that and I draft my own patterns now so keep it up!
