Another sewing expo class. This one did not work for me. It was taught by Sandy Miller. I was expecting a class on making pattern design changes. Instead, this was a class on wardrobe planning. It was very basic: start with black pants, add a black blazer/jacker, black skirt, white top then fill in with colors and prints. Nothing new here. Nevertheless, there was a tip I could use - Use your hair color from head to toe. Buy all the fabric you need for your choice of 2 neutrals at the same time to match dye lots. To get ideas for colors - look at a home Decorating magazine upside down to get just an impression of the colors. I probably will not take another class from this company because I don't find loose, flowing garments flattering for me. Others may find it's just right for them.

Sandy is affiliated with Louise Cutting. I have not had a class with Louise so I don't know if this is true of all the classes.

What company is Sandy Miller affiliated with? I would like to know so I don't take one of their classes in Chantilly, VA.
