Using tape to thread serger. (Tip/Technique)

I was trying to thread my serger the other day, and for the life of me I can't find my tweezers that I have to have to grasp the thread.

SO what I did is I used a small bit of tape. If you can get the thread through the needle, you can use the tape to pull it the rest of the way through. Just touch the tape to the thread and pull towards the back of the machine.
