Often times when sewing on thin ribbon, it can be time consuming simply b/c of having to stitch down both sides, an even faster way to accomplish this, would be to use a twin needle. As long as the ribbon is a little wider than the twin needle setting, it will work great, and will cut your sewing time in half

"twin needle setting" means "twin needle size" [the width size]...just in case someone isn't familiar with twin needles. As for cutting your time in half...that's only after you've changed the needle and threaded the two needles with two spools of thread, ugh!

What a great tip! Thanks so much. It'll also work with sewing down bias decorative tape which you make yourself.
