Recently I took a class at the Viking Center at Joanns fabric store. I have a #1. The instructor told me to bring my maching, thread, fabric suitable for the project and stabelizer. Everything went very well until a particular stitch was introduced, making it necessary to use a speciality foot. Well, the "cubby storage" within my machine did not produce the candelwicking foot and so I made that purchase. My point is, . . .bring ALL attachments with you when taking a class. Upon returning home, I went into my home storage box and there it was, a caldelwicking foot which I had purchased a few years back. Also, ask the instructor at sign up time if there is the need for speciality feet or thread or markers or anything.

Actually classes that I'd taken in the past listed everything necessary for the class. Surprises when you're in the middle of the class, as what happened to Fryman, are not the way things should be. I hope you had a chance to leave feedback to the instructor / store about the situation.
