Daryl Lancaster teaches several classes geared towards handweavers. My weaving guild brought Daryl to Utah to teach 2 classes.
This class covers seam finishes, closures, basic fit info and wet finishing handwovens. Most of the info applies to other fabrics as well.
Closures include regular and triangle bound buttonholes and a variety of bias loops for buttons.
Seam finishes include binding, hong kong, bias nylon tricot (like wider seams great no longer available), flat felled seams with and without piping, french seams, underlining or bias with the outside fabric ending at the seam line and the underlining/bias on the outside.
This was a great class! I highly recommend any class Daryl teaches. |
